To begin recording a video with the Soomo video recorder, click Start Activity.
Add an optional title to your video, then click Continue.
Review the recording instructions, and then click Continue again.
In the next window that appears, click Continue to Recorder.
The Soomo video recorder will check your camera and microphone to make sure you are ready for recording. For more information on enabling your camera and microphone, check out this article for some troubleshooting tips.
Once your camera and microphone pass the equipment check, click Continue.
When you’re ready to begin recording, click Record in the bottom left corner.
If you need to take a break when recording your video, but aren’t quite finished yet, click Pause.
When you’re ready to jump back in, click Resume to start recording again. The video recorder will start recording right where you left off when you clicked Pause.
When you are all done with your recording, click Stop.
Click Post to submit your video to your instructor, or click Delete to archive or delete your video.
You’ll know your video has been uploaded and processed successfully when you see the video thumbnail appear in the main recorder view.
