The webtext automatically scores your work as you complete it. For this reason, your total points may look low at first. But as you keep completing the questions, you will see your gradebook points go up.

The point value of each question is different for every instructor, school, and course. Your syllabus or course home page has all of the details on what is assigned for credit and how many points each assignment is worth. You can also see how the points you earn in your webtext go toward your course grades by viewing your gradebook points in My Progress. The webtext only gives you credit for a multiple-choice question if you answer it correctly. Other types of questions are awarded credit on completion, though your instructor has the ability to monitor your work and unpost anything they’d like for you to further develop and resubmit. Keep in mind that if you reset or unpost any work, your points will temporarily drop until you complete the work again.

If your webtext is integrated with your school’s course management system (such as Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, or Moodle), it can take up to ten minutes for the points to appear in your grades there.
