If you’re not happy with a video you’ve submitted for a speech assignment, you can remove it from your recordings by moving it to the Archive folder. Videos you move to the Archive folder are visible only to you.
Keep in mind that you can’t archive or delete a video if your instructor has already graded the assignment or given you feedback.
Archive a video
From the main view of the Soomo video recorder, click the three dots on the right side of the video you’d like to archive and select Archive.
In the pop-up that appears, click Archive again to confirm or Cancel to go back.
Videos in the Archive folder will automatically be deleted after 60 days.
Restore a video
If you’d like to restore a video that you’ve archived, select Archive in the menu on the left side of the Soomo video recorder. (Note: On smaller screens, you may need to click the three horizontal lines in the upper left of the video recorder to view the menu.)
Click the three dots on the right side of the video you’d like to restore and select Restore. This will move the video back to your list of recordings.
Permanently delete a video
Once a video is archived, it can be permanently deleted. If you would like to permanently delete a video from the Soomo video recorder, first click over to the Archive folder in the left-hand menu.
From there, click the three dots on the right side of the video you wish to permanently delete and select Permanently Delete. Note that this action cannot be undone.
In the pop-up that appears, click Permanently Delete again to confirm or Cancel to go back to the Archive folder.
