Filter by Writing Templates

We’ve made it easier to provide feedback on writing templates that students use to complete their writing assignments. Log in to Analytics and click on any blue box.

Analytics view of student work with green arrow pointing to the checked box on page 1.1.

In the top left, click to open the Table of Contents. You’ll see the filter drop-down in the upper right. Click to open the menu and then select the box next to Templates.

Top portion of Analytics screen with an arrow pointing to Table of Contents prompting to select the View All link which will open menu to select only pages with templates.

The Table of Contents will automatically filter to show you only the pages in the webtext that have writing templates.

Analytics view with the view pages with templates option selected and a green arrow pointing to a page with templates.

Click on the title of the page you want to go to. Use the right and left arrows to navigate between template pages.

Analytics view with a green arrow points to the page name and navigation arrows, while another green arrow points at Add Comment below student work.

To further filter these pages by student completion, check out the article on how to filter your list of students by completion or comment status.

Tip: You can find quick access to all of the writing templates in your webtext by navigating to the Index of Writing Templates using the Table of Contents menu in the upper left-hand corner of your webtext.
