All of our webtexts include a feature called Read to Me that lets you listen to your webtext out loud. Below are instructions for using Read to Me in the Soomo Reader app.
To turn on Read to Me, tap the speaker icon at the bottom of the screen to open the Read to Me menu.
From this menu, you can toggle Read to Me on or off, as well as adjust the voice speed, Autoscroll, and text highlight settings.
Once Read to Me is enabled, a toolbar will appear at the top of the page.
You can start playback from the top of the page by tapping the Listen button in the toolbar. You can also use the toolbar to start or stop playback and change the voice speed.
To start listening from a specific paragraph, scroll to that paragraph and tap the Play button that appears to the left of the text.
Tap the speaker icon or the gear icon in the toolbar to open the Read to Me menu again.
