How do I download my completed template from the webtext?

Finding and downloading completed templates

You can download your work from templates in the webtext to save a copy for your own review or to submit for an assignment.

If a series of templates compile into a single file, you’ll download your work after completing the final template. Stand-alone templates, such as journals or reflections, can be downloaded individually or, in some cases, at the end of the webtext.

Locate your templates

To revisit any template or to download a completed template again, you can use the Index of Writing Templates (sometimes called the Index of Assignment Templates).

You’ll find a link to the Index at the bottom of your webtext’s Table of Contents.

Find the Download button

The Index lists the templates in your webtext, shows which page it’s on, and indicates the location of each download button.

Once you’re on the page with the template you want to download, find and click the Download button.

If the Download button isn’t available, make sure you’ve completed all required templates and clicked the Add button for each one.

Download your file

When you’re ready, click the Download button to save your file to your device, usually in your Downloads folder.
