WGU - How do I install the app?

Steps to download and sign in to our free mobile app

Written by Tamina

Once you’ve purchased and accessed your webtext online, you can download the Soomo Reader app from the iOS App Store or Google Play—it’s free! (Note that some webtext titles are not available on the app.)

Sign in from the app

From the main app screen, enter your email address and password. If you don’t know your password or don’t have one, tap “I don’t know my password” and follow the instructions emailed to you.

Sign in with your webtext

From a web browser, go to the Tools Menu in the upper-right corner of your webtext and select Get the App. There you’ll find a temporary app password you can use to sign in to your webtext on the app.

Note: Most webtexts will contain links to other publishers’ textbooks and products. Some of these products may not work in an offline environment and will require you to return to a browser to view. You may also have to install a different app to access those products and/or books.
